Haul part 2 and good news!

Gah! So much for putting up part 2 of the haul soon!! I'm so sorry it took me so long to do so!

14 MAC pigment samples that we ordered from The Beauty Sampler! Awesome choices of different pigments varying from around $2.50 to $3.00 for a 1/4 teaspoon and shipping was only $2.50! The good thing too is that you can choose the amount that you're getting! From 1/4 to 1/2 to 3/4 to full teaspoon.

From top left going clockwise:
Mauvement, Heritage Rouge, Old Gold, Vanilla

From top left going clockwise:
Revved Up, Vintage Gold, Mega Rich, Gold Stroke

From top left going clockwise:
Pink Bronze, Golden Olive, Gold Mode, Revved Up, Blue Brown, Pink Pearl

3 out of the 14 pigments were mine: Revved Up, Pink Pearl and Mauvement.

This is a shot of all of the pigments I`ve collected so far. The stack on top are my Bella Pierre shimmer pigments and the rest are my MAC pigments.

On a happy note...I just recently got engaged!!! Hence me not posting this haul right away plus the lack of swatches! I'm super excited but I'm gonna have to put a hold on my spending so I can save up for the wedding!

From #haulfail to #haulwin!!!

Last time, I blogged about how I gave my boyfriend a list of things to buy for me since he was in Buffalo.

Well...he didn't get me anything. I know...WOMP WOMP right?

Poor guy though was going on a frenzy trying to look for things for me. He felt really bad about not being able to get me anything. =( Sooooo he proposed that he take me to my trusty nail place and he said to pick whatever I wanted and he'll get it for me! YAY! Of course I told him to help me pick some colours out that he would like me to wear, and he said yes.

So in we go and his jaw dropped. He was like "You were sending me on a wild goose chase all around Buffalo to find you nail polish and you have all this right here?!!?!?" Of course he didn't understand that there are some brands that are not available in that little nail place, but he didn't care at that point. LOL.

I ended up getting 5 bottles and he picked the China Glazes out for me. =) They all totaled up to $22CAD.

(Without flash)
L-R: OPI Do You Think I'm Tex-y?, China Glaze Tree Hugger, First Mate, Midnight Ride, Secrect[sic] Peri-wink-le

(With flash)

 Secrect?? Typo alert!! LOL

After purchasing, we met up with some friends and had dinner at a Chinese resto and watched "Sucker Punch" after. I was like 0_0 the whoooole time! Sensory overload! Lots of fight scenes, weapons, imaginary creatures, sick characters, thigh high stockings and short skirts!! We watched it on IMAX so it was pretty nuts!

Vlog time!

So Chel slept over on Saturday night and since we were on a vlogging high, decided to go on a frenzy and record 3!

Here's the 1st of 3, our "haul of the night" and our make-up routines.

Since Chel didn't add my product names on the video, I'll just list them.

Moisturizer: Belo Essentials Day Cover with SPF 15
BB Cream/Foundation: Skinfood Peach Sake Pore/Covergirl Naturelux in Oak
Eyeliner: Physician's Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum
Mascaras: Almay One Coat Get Up and Grow and Covergirl Lashblast Volume
Blush: Smashbox O-Glow
Lip Balm: Nivea Hydro Care
Tinted Lip Balm: Tokidoki Gelato Lip Balm Stain in Donutella
Lip Gloss: Femme Couture Super Juices Sheer in Hot Pink

Haul update!

OK as promised here is a post of the hauls that I got these past few weeks.

First off is my Wet n Wild mini-haul. I picked up FuchsiaRama, Gray's Anatomy and SaGreena the Teenage Witch.

(Left to Right: FuchsiaRama, SaGreena the Teenage Witch and Gray's Anatomy)

Second is my Nubar haul.  Chel found this other secret hole-in-the-wall that blew my mind. I nearly pissed my pants when I saw all the polishes they had! I picked up 7 Nubars, it was buy 6 get the 7th free, which works out to $4.75CAD each. But I bought 2 of them for Chel so I ended up with 5.

(Left to Right: Pharaoh's Purple, Nubar 2010, Purple Beach, Reclaim, Peacock Feathers)

Here are skittle swatches of all of them except 2010. Please pardon the messiness, I was in a hurry so I can eat a yummy dinner. :)

Last but certainly not the least, my Bobbie Haul. Bobbie is a nail polish brand that is only available in the Philippines. A friend of mine has been so kind as to pick up some for me so I can experience the awesomeness!

I'm probably gonna have to do a separate post on these babies cuz there are too many of them!! I can't even figure out which collection some of these belong in. There are glitters, foils, metallics, holoprisms, etc.

Here is a sad excuse for swatches.

I can't really see in the swatches the different kinds of finishes. It's hard to photograph at night in a room with super sucky lighting. :( Oh and I write better than that I promise. Looks like someone gave a pen to a chicken. LOL. I started doing the swatches then in the middle of it got the idea to post it up, but by then it was too late to re-do.

My fave out of the bunch is Weng Weng which belongs to the holoprism collection.
Here's a sneak peak!

Click on it to enlarge so you can see the prettiness. Isn't it gorgeous??? That's without sunlight, indoors with flash.

I'll be posting up my two manis soon. I haven't stamped in such a long time, I've just been freehanding!

'Til the next Konadi/manicure!!

More shopping and future hauls!

I went out with 3 of my co-workers yesterday for sushi and after we stuffed our faces, I had brought up the nail place that was pretty close to the restaurant. So of course the girls were all up for it, but then I remembered they were closed on Fridays. BOO. Now 2 of them are jonesing to buy nail polish.

So I'm gonna meet up with one of them today and we're gonna stop by so I can show her the craziness. I just hope I don't turn her into a monster like me!

I've got a new Konadicure on today...no pictures as of yet...I'll leave that for another post. I used China Glaze Exotic Cranberry for a base colour and I stamped the rose design with Sally Hansen Chrome Pens in Pink chrome. When deciding what colours and design to use, it didn't occur to me how girly it was gonna turn out. Well it's super girly and super Valentine's Days-y. So I'm a little ahead of the game...seeing as it's not even February yet! =P

Speaking of Valentine's Day, I requested for me and my boyfriend to go up to Buffalo, NY and go shopping! I proposed that I will pay for our food for the day, and he buys me whatever I want!! He agreed so I'm making a list for when I go to Ulta (for the 1st time ever!). I'm super excited. I'm gonna pick up nail polishes that we don't have here in Canada ie: Barielle, Essence etc.

I'll be posting up pics of my KOTW soon. =) 'Til then!

Another mini-haul and give-away entry!

*sigh* I've got to kick this addiction. :( It would be ok if I was funding it in another way besides my full-time job but that's not the case. I've got to find a way to make money off my polishes!!

Chel and I visited the store again yesterday and instead of only coming out with one polish that I wanted which was OPI You Don't Know Jacques, I came out with 5 and none of them was YDKJ!! The store owner is such a grumpy guy and we groan everytime we see him there. The 1st and 2nd time we went, the clerk didn't care what we did and we looked through the boxes. The 3rd time we went, the grumpy guy was there and basically yelled at us for looking through the boxes. He said that all the colours were out on display. Well, we basically caught him in that lie because the OPI Unripened we both bought were from the boxes and cannot be found on the displays. So yesterday, I had one bottle of polish in my hand and he passes by us and says "You know you have to spend $20 right?!?" I'm like "Yeah, I know." If you spend less than $20, you pay full price for each bottle of  polish, instead of their price. So of course, I had to pick more polishes to make up $20. *sigh*

That's enough story-telling...on to the pictures!!

Here's my mini haul from left to right:
OPI Russian Navy
China Glaze Exotic Cranberry
China Glaze Starboard
China Glaze Blue Island Iced Tea
OPI Diva of Geneva

Ginormous magnificent haul!!

Ok I'm dedicating this post to show the hauls I got since I have been so kindly introduced to this nail supply store. It is so well-stocked that Puppy and I spent an hour and a half searching through boxes on our first visit.

I came out with these! I actually did skittle swatches! All the swatches were one coat except for Black Diamond which was 2 thin coats.

After a couple of days I went back and picked up OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark and Unripened, China Glaze's Below Deck and Peace on Earth. This bottle of POE was for myself since the previous one was purchased for a friend. Unripened was not what I expected so I sold it to my friend along with her POE.

This nail store will be the death of my wallet...but I love it! I am stalking the arrival of Black Crackle since I'm so psyched for it!

I actually made a list of all my nail polishes (I've got a life, I swear!) and I own 90 bottles. I've used maybe less than half of them so I've got tons that I haven't even used yet! Plus I've got two more coming my way. Methinks that is enough for a while, so no more buying. Unless Black Crackle arrives at the nail supply store, then I'm all over that!!!

'Til the next Konadicure!
